Mica Block
Mica crystals are extracted from mines in the form of blocks, lumps, or books with irregular shapes, sizes, and thicknesses, often containing impurities. These crystals are processed into 'Mica Blocks,' a term used for natural mica that has been cleaned and shaped. Skilled workers use knives and scissors to carefully dress the crude mica into blocks, ensuring a minimum thickness of 0.18mm; anything thinner is classified as ‘Thin Mica.’ Mica Blocks are categorized into 13 different sizes, ranging from 0.75 inch² to 100 inch² (1.6cm² to 100 cm²).
At SRM Minerals, we offer a range of mica block qualities, including Ruby, Green, and Spotted mica blocks. We export mica blocks according to buyers' specifications, maintaining the highest standards to meet customer requirements.
