Mica Scrap
Mica scrap is a byproduct obtained from mica mines, consisting of pieces that are unsuitable for use as sheet mica due to their size, quality, or both. These scraps are screened through 1/2 square inch openings, typically measuring between 12-50mm in size with thicknesses ranging from 0.15-5mm.
Mica scrap should be clean, dry, and hard, free from both mineral and non-mineral impurities such as quartz, feldspar, garnet, tourmaline, stones, mud stains, biotite mica, clay, sand, and other inclusions like wood, leaves, straw, and iron content.
Uses:
Mica scrap is primarily used in the production of mica paper, which is then made into mica sheets and mica tapes.
Packing:
We export mica scrap in durable HDPE bags, each weighing 50 kgs, or according to buyers' specifications.
